I'm learning quite a bit from the smaller paintings and have been putting it to use in the larger works. This is much larger than my daily paintings. The building up of layers is much more important in the larger works. It's a little like an excavation.

Today is a holiday. I thought I'd post an older painting. It's a portrait of The Monkey done in 2007. It's time to do a new one.
